    Ok....so I know that

    "Are You Dilly Dallying?"

sounds like a rather silly question, but truthfully, is it?

I have been working on this HUGE project...completely starting out from scratch...no website, no list, no social media following.

I have worked on it faithfully non stop EVERY day...for long hours EVERY day.  It is a HUGE project...

    did I say HUGE???

    Is it done?

    No...

it is way too massive, and I have had a ton to learn to make this project come to life....

    PLUS!!!

It involves a LOT of other people...because it involves affiliates and connections and planning and ohhhh....the list goes on....and on...and on!

Is it DONE ENOUGH to launch?  YES!

    HELL YES!!!!

    But...

    WHY...

    am I

    PROCASTINATING?

        DILLY DALLYING??

           PROCASTINATING???

             PUSSY FOOTING AROUND?

          DITHERING??

         HESITATING???

    DELAYING????

    cuz...it's not done yet.

           cuz...it is not perfect yet...

CUZ...Maybe...just maybe, I am just a little bit afraid...

    Afraid????

What if I fall flat on my face?

What if this does not work?

    What if I fail...AGAIN???

So what am I afraid of?

    What is holding me back?

       What am I waiting for?

    indeed...

    What ARE YOU waiting for?

I work with aspiring authors.  I teach classes for aspiring authors.  I work with business owners, coaches and consultants who want to use authorship as a their calling card to to promote their business.

Yet...and still, I see reflected in my clients and in my students, a reflection of my own self.

We all second guess ourselves.  We all wait for the perfect moment.  We all "Dilly Dally."  We all procastinate.

    BUT WHY?

    pro·cras·ti·nate
    prəˈkrastəˌnāt/
    verb
    1. delay or postpone action; put off doing something.
"it won't be this price for long, so don't procrastinate"
synonyms: delay, put off doing something, postpone action, defer action, be dilatory, use delaying tactics, stall, temporize, drag one's feet/heels, take one's time, play for time, play a waiting game

"fear of failure often causes people to procrastinate"

    Look at that!

"Fear of failure often causes people to procastinate!"

    Ahhhh...but how healthy is that?

We live in a busy an hectic world with lots of noise...but I say this:

    GET OVER IT!

There are people out there that both WANT and DESERVE YOUR message!

"I think that the power is the principle. The principle of moving forward, as though you have the confidence to move forward, eventually gives you confidence when you look back and see what you've done."

So this is my heartfelt message as a business owner, an author, a coach, consultant, wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, cousin and friend...

    JUST DO IT!

And I will do the same!
